• Adult Size: 5–6 cm (2–2.5 inches)
• Life Expectancy: 3–5 years
• Habitat: Originates from slow-moving streams and tributaries of the Paraguay and Guaporé River basins in South America. Prefers soft, slightly acidic water with vegetation and subdued lighting.
