Appearance

Yellow Cherry Shrimp are a selectively bred color variant of Neocaridina shrimp:

• Bright lemon to deep golden yellow body
• Semi-transparent shell in lower grades
• Solid “sakura” yellow in high-grade strains
• Small, delicate body with visible internal organs in lighter grades

Tank Requirements

They thrive best in stable, mature planted tanks with no sudden parameter changes.

Behavior

• Very peaceful community invertebrate
• Constantly grazing surfaces for biofilm
• Best kept in colonies (10–50+)
• Will hide more if stressed or in unsafe tank conditions
