Origin

They are usually found in slow-moving blackwater streams and heavily planted waters.

• Slight green or copper shine under lighting
• Small and slender body shape
• Size: around 4–5 cm (1.5–2 inches)

The gold coloration becomes brighter in dark substrate planted aquariums.

Temperament

• Peaceful and community-friendly
• Schooling fish — keep 6 or more together
• Active but not aggressive
• Ideal for planted community tanks
