Appearance

Pinokio Shrimp are instantly recognizable by:

• Extremely long red “nose” (rostrum)
• Transparent body with slight red accents
• Slender, elegant shrimp shape
• Red antennae and legs in some individuals

The “Pinocchio nose” is actually an extended rostrum used for sensing and feeding behavior.

• Active swimmer compared to other shrimp
